- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp paprika
- 3 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Prep your potatoes: Start by peeling and chopping the golden potatoes into bite-sized cubes.
- Boil the potatoes: In a large pot, add your chopped potatoes and cover them with water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until fork-tender.
- Drain and cool: Once cooked, drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
- Create the coating: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Coat the potatoes: Gently toss the boiled potatoes in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
- Heat the oil: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
- Fry the potato bites: Working in batches, carefully add the coated potatoes to the hot oil and fry for 4-6 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Drain excess oil: Remove the potato bites with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate.
