Description

A delightful dessert combining sweet, salty, and creamy flavors, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces and mix them with melted butter and sugar until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
  3. Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well mixed. Spread this layer over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Mix in the sliced strawberries once it’s slightly cooled. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer, distributing it evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 180 minutes (or overnight for the best results) before serving.
