- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine (or grape juice)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper on all sides.
- In a large pan, sear the ribs over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
- Remove the ribs from the pan and set aside.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the same pan. Sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, grape juice, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer gently.
- Place the seared ribs in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over them.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast for about 180-240 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
