Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until fully combined.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
- Drop dollops of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
