Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ – ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2–4 tablespoons red and white sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies or mini candy canes
Instructions
- Prepare your containers: Line two small (about 4.25” x 6.25”) airtight containers with parchment paper, leaving about 3 inches of overhang on all sides.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, then stir and continue heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Add flavorings: Stir in the vanilla extract and peppermint extract until well combined.
- Set the fudge: Pour half of the fudge mixture into each prepared container, smoothing it into an even layer.
- Add toppings: When slightly warm, sprinkle the top with red and white sprinkles or peppermint candies.
- Chill: Refrigerate the fudge uncovered until completely chilled, about 30 minutes.
- Store properly: Cover the containers with lids and store at room temperature for up to 10 days.
Notes
Make ahead for stress-free holiday snacking. Consider using dairy-free chocolate chips if desired.
