Description

Delightful Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting, perfect for cozy autumn mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until bubbly.
  2. Stir in melted butter, pumpkin puree, salt, and spices.
  3. Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough, spread with softened butter, and sprinkle with sugar and spices.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Place in a baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  9. Frost rolls while warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze them for a cozy treat next month. You can prepare the dough the night before and let it rise in the refrigerator overnight.
