- 1 pound ribeye steak
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 sub rolls
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the ribeye steak thinly against the grain.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and add garlic.
- Add sliced onions and caramelize until golden brown.
- Increase the heat and add the sliced ribeye, cooking until browned.
- Melt provolone cheese on top of the steak mixture.
- Toast the sub rolls in the same skillet until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich with the steak and onion mixture; serve hot.
