Description
A creamy, dreamy cheesecake topped with luscious caramel sauce, perfect for cozy gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs (finely crushed)
- 0.5 cups unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 packages cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the finely crushed graham cracker crumbs and melted unsalted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a sturdy base. Set aside.
- Mix the cream cheese: In a large bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no lumps.
- Incorporate eggs: Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Then, mix in the pure vanilla extract until everything is combined into a luscious, pale batter.
- Pour and spread: Carefully pour the creamy mixture into your prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
- Chill: Place your cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes, or overnight if time allows.
- Top with caramel: Just before serving, drizzle a generous amount of caramel sauce over the chilled cheesecake.
Notes
For a gorgeous presentation, dip your knife in hot water before slicing the cheesecake.
