Ingredients

- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/2 pound cooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, evaporated milk, salt, white pepper, sugar, melted butter, and hot sauce until well combined.
- Stir in the cooked elbow macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour the mac and cheese mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the paprika evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently for best results.
