Description

A comforting blend of creamy, cheesy goodness, perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs red potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and cube the red potatoes. Boil them in a pot of salted water until fork-tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.
  3. Combine the sour cream, half of the cheddar cheese, cooked turkey bacon, green onions, melted butter, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the boiled potatoes until well coated.
  4. Transfer the potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm, and enjoy every comforting bite!
