Description

A warm, creamy, and indulgent Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole topped with gooey melted cheese and crispy turkey bacon, perfect for family gatherings or comforting dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup crispy turkey bacon, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in a large pot until tender. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Add milk, sour cream, cream cheese, butter, and season with salt and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and turkey bacon.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Make it ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to a day before baking. Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
