Description

A quick and delicious Honey Garlic Ground Turkey bowl, perfect for busy weeknights. This dish features a sticky honey garlic glaze served over fluffy white rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/3 cup Honey (Raw honey)
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger (Grated)
  • 2 cups White Rice (Cooked)
  • 1 tbsp Green Onions (Sliced)
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds (White)

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey. Let it sear undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until it develops deliciously dark brown edges.
  2. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the cooked turkey, stirring to coat evenly. Simmer for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy. Serve this flavorful turkey over the steamed white rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for an extra touch of flair.

Notes

You can prepare the honey garlic sauce ahead of time for more intense flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
