Description

A comforting casserole featuring a creamy mixture of ham and mushroom soup topped with crispy tater tots and cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups tater tots
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: vegetables like peas or corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the diced ham, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the ham mixture evenly across the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the tater tots on top of the ham mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the casserole a day in advance and refrigerating it. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
