Description

These quick and easy Greek Yogurt Bagels offer a healthy twist on the classic recipe, perfect for busy mornings or leisurely weekends.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
  5. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

The dough can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
