- 2 large leeks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons herb butter
- 1 cup beef broth

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim and clean the leeks, cutting off the root end and the tough green tops. Rinse them thoroughly to remove any grit.
- In a skillet, melt herb butter over medium heat.
- Sear the leeks in the skillet until they are golden brown on all sides.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth, season with salt and pepper, then cover and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the leeks are soft enough to cut with a fork.
- Serve warm.

Make-ahead option: Prepare the leeks and place them in the broth earlier in the day, then bake when ready to serve.
