Description

Delicious sliders filled with layers of melty cheese and savory ham, perfect for casual dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 soft Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls on the sandwiches.
  6. Brush the buttery mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and return the dish to the oven. Bake for another 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm, preferably with a salad.

Notes

Make ahead by assembling the sliders in advance and refrigerating until ready to bake.
