Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped onions (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • Green onions or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. If using, add chopped bell peppers and onions.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken with a fork and stir it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.
