Description

A warm and cozy creamy potato soup filled with cheddar cheese and turkey bacon, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hash browns
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the frozen hash browns and broth in a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the hash browns are tender.
  3. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer for another 5 minutes to heat through.
