Description

A comforting and savory one-pan dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce with tangy pepperoncini.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced pepperoncini peppers and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese and chicken broth; mix until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding spinach for extra nutrients or mixing in cheese for a richer sauce.
