- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Pasta of your choice, cooked
Instructions
- Combine the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (if using) in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Heat the sauce in a saucepan over low heat until warmed through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan, tossing until the noodles are generously coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
This sauce can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days. Stir in cooked chicken or vegetables for added nutrition.
