Description
Tender, chewy cookies blending creamy white chocolate with crunchy Oreos, perfect for cozy nights in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 Oreo cookies (coarsely chopped)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats, and set them aside.
- Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Set this mixture aside.
- Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer until well combined and smooth.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy and there are no lumps.
- Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix just until the dough begins to come together, then gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips.
- Use a small cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons of dough) to portion out the cookies. Roll them gently in your hands and slightly press down on each one.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the sides are set.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
