Description

A creamy and refreshing Hawaiian macaroni salad that’s perfect for summer picnics and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup canned crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water until the pasta is cool to the touch.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooked macaroni, celery, carrots, green onions, and crushed pineapple to the bowl.
  4. Toss everything together until well combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving.
