Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in the honey, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and a pinch of salt over the mixture and fold them in gently.
  6. Add the flour gradually, mixing until just incorporated.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

This banana bread can be stored for up to three days in an airtight container and also freezes well.
