- 1 pound ground beef (450 g)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Water, as directed on taco seasoning packet
- 8 ounce bag Mexican shredded cheese (225 g)
- Optional toppings: pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Toss diced russet potatoes in a large bowl with the oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated and fragrant.
- Air fry the seasoned potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for 18-20 minutes, shaking the basket 2-3 times for even crisping.
- Cook the Beef: Brown the crumbled ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, draining any excess grease.
- Season the Beef: Add the taco seasoning and water according to the package directions, simmer on low to meld flavors.
- Assemble the Dish: Layer crispy potatoes, top with seasoned beef, sprinkle with cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
