Description

Delightful blueberry cookies filled with cream cheese and blueberry jam, combining tart blueberries and sweet white chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup blueberry jam
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the fresh blueberries and white chocolate chunks, allowing them to distribute evenly.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making a small indentation in the center of each cookie.
  7. Fill each indentation with a dollop of cream cheese and blueberry jam.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a refreshing twist, try adding lemon zest or swapping blueberries for dried cranberries.
