Ingredients

- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup bourbon (or vegetable broth)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4–6 chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, bourbon (or broth), brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a slow cooker. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the chicken thighs to the mixture and stir gently to coat each piece in the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 240-360 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and bursting with flavor.
- Serve the chicken warm, drizzled with the sauce and topped with chopped green onions.
