Description

Crispy eggrolls filled with creamy cheese, smoky turkey bacon, and zesty jalapeños.


Ingredients

  • 10 eggroll wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, chopped turkey bacon, diced jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture in the center of each eggroll wrapper, creating a delightful little mound.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water; this will help seal the eggrolls tightly. Fold the wrapper over the filling, ensuring every delicious bit is enclosed.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. The oil should be hot enough that a small piece of bread would sizzle immediately upon contact.
  5. Fry the eggrolls until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove and drain the eggrolls on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
