Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined.
- Gradually stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips or your choice of mix-ins.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Notes
