Description

These delightful Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs combine juicy strawberries and tender pound cake for a fun and easy no-bake dessert that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 strawberries (hulled and halved)
  • 12 oz. pound cake (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 8 oz. whipped topping (optional for an extra creamy touch)
  • 1 bag of white chocolate chips (optional for indulgent drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Begin by washing and hulling your strawberries. Slice them in half to reveal their succulent insides. Then, cut your pound cake into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Skewer the kabobs: Take a skewer and thread on a strawberry half, followed by a cube of pound cake, and then another strawberry half. Repeat this until you fill the skewer, leaving a bit of space at the ends.
  3. Whipped cream version (optional): If you like a creamy finish, take your kabobs and dip them in whipped topping or drizzle with a generous scoop on the side when you serve.
  4. White chocolate version (optional): If you prefer a sweeter touch, melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave (30 seconds at a time until smooth). Dip each kabob into the melted chocolate and set aside on a parchment-lined tray to cool and harden.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Once your kabobs are assembled, present them on a lovely platter or stick them into a jar for a beautiful presentation. Enjoy them with friends, family, or by yourself on a cozy evening!

Notes

These kabobs can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
