Description

A warm and buttery Strawberry Cobbler, bursting with juicy strawberries and topped with a golden crust. Perfect for summer gatherings or cozy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in another bowl.
  4. Pour the batter over the strawberries, spreading it gently.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream.

Notes

You can prepare the fruit mixture in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
