Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 4 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove the turkey bacon and set it aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  4. Toss in the chopped cabbage, stirring to coat it in the drippings.
  5. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is wilted and tender.
  7. Stir the cooked turkey bacon back into the skillet before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add bell peppers, carrots, or red pepper flakes for variation. This dish can be prepped ahead of time for convenience.
