Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup White Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  1. Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter in a stand mixer until smooth.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until incorporated.
  3. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well mixed.
  5. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Roll about 1-1/2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and place it on the baking sheet.
  9. Press down the dough ball with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  10. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and enjoy!
