- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh peaches, diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add in the softened butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms; it should feel a little sticky but manageable.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the diced peaches evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon over the peaches.
- Starting at one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.
- Drizzle the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls and serve.
Notes
You can prepare the rolls the night before and refrigerate. Bake fresh in the morning for a delightful treat.
