  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the rolled oats and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
