Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Add in the chopped pecans and transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top turns golden and the oats set perfectly.
