Scale
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup of full-fat coconut milk
Instructions

- Once dissolved, add the unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, mixing well until smooth and shiny. Allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool down completely.
- Once cool, whisk in the full-fat coconut milk.
- Pour your mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically taking about 20-30 minutes.
- After churning, pour the chocolate sorbet into an airtight container and freeze for at least 120 minutes, or until firm.
- Serve in bowls or cones, topped with your favorite nuts or fruits if desired.
Notes
This chocolate sorbet can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container to maintain its creamy texture. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping for the best consistency.
