Description

A refreshing and creamy fruit salad that brings the essence of summer to any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 30-oz can fruit cocktail in juice
  • 1 20-oz can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 8-oz can mandarin orange slices
  • 1 10-oz bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 24-oz container of sour cream
  • 1 box orange flavored gelatin

Instructions

  1. Begin by pouring all the canned fruit into a colander over the sink. Allow the juices to drain for about four hours.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and the box of orange jello. Stir until it’s completely combined.
  3. Add the drained fruit and mini marshmallows into the bowl. Gently stir to coat everything.
  4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  5. Give it a gentle stir right before serving; then, scoop it out and enjoy chilled!

Notes

This salad is best when made ahead of time and chilled for optimal flavor.
