- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the green beans by trimming the ends and rinsing them thoroughly under cold water, then set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and sizzling.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Toss in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and softened.
- Add the green beans to the skillet, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir to combine.
- Cover the skillet and cook the green beans for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender but crisp.
- Remove the lid and add the remaining tablespoon of butter; stir until melted and coats the vegetables.
- Add the lemon juice, stirring well to combine, and remove from heat once cooked to your liking.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
