Description
A comforting twist on a classic, this Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese features gooey melted cheese and aromatic garlic butter, all tucked between crispy bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all the way to the edges.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down onto your skillet. Add half the cheese on each slice.
- Top with the other slices of bread, butter-side up, creating a sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese has melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
You can prepare the garlic butter mixture in advance and store it in the fridge. For maximum cheese pull, use a serrated knife to slice the sandwiches.
