Description

A comforting twist on a classic, this Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese features gooey melted cheese and aromatic garlic butter, all tucked between crispy bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all the way to the edges.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down onto your skillet. Add half the cheese on each slice.
  4. Top with the other slices of bread, butter-side up, creating a sandwich.
  5. Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese has melted.
  6. Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

You can prepare the garlic butter mixture in advance and store it in the fridge. For maximum cheese pull, use a serrated knife to slice the sandwiches.
