Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine the vegetable oil and flour in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir for about 1 minute until golden brown.
  2. Add the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir for another minute to let the spices bloom.
  3. Gradually whisk in the tomato sauce and water until smooth.
