Description

A unique twist on classic burgers, combining flaky croissants with savory smash patties for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large croissants
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup fresh arugula or spinach
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced tomatoes, pickles, or avocado for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Form the ground beef into four equal balls and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and place the beef balls in the pan.
  4. Smashed each ball down into a patty and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy on the edges.
  5. Flip the patties and sprinkle shredded cheddar on top; cover to melt cheese.
  6. Slice croissants in half and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  7. Assemble burgers by spreading mayonnaise and Dijon on each half, adding the cheesy patties, arugula, and any extra toppings.
  8. Close the burgers and enjoy the flavors!

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken. Store leftovers separately for best freshness.
