- 4 large croissants
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fresh arugula or spinach
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced tomatoes, pickles, or avocado for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Form the ground beef into four equal balls and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and place the beef balls in the pan.
- Smashed each ball down into a patty and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy on the edges.
- Flip the patties and sprinkle shredded cheddar on top; cover to melt cheese.
- Slice croissants in half and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- Assemble burgers by spreading mayonnaise and Dijon on each half, adding the cheesy patties, arugula, and any extra toppings.
- Close the burgers and enjoy the flavors!
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken. Store leftovers separately for best freshness.
