Description

A comforting and cheesy one-pot meal made with tender steak, creamy potatoes, and a delightful cheesy topping, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs steak (chuck or sirloin)
  • 4 cups potatoes (cubed)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup cheese (shredded, such as cheddar)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: green onions, turkey bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed potatoes and chopped onion at the bottom of a crockpot.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, then place it on top of the potatoes and onions.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the steak, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. Add the minced garlic for aromatic goodness.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or until the steak and potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in the sour cream and shredded cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
