Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, lining them up side by side.
- Pour the marinara sauce generously over the chicken, ensuring every piece is coated.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken about 30 minutes before serving.
- Cover and continue cooking until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve over cooked pasta, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
