Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked pasta (optional for serving)
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add the chicken broth, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook on low for 360 minutes or high for 240 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken, shred it, and return it to the crock pot.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot over cooked pasta, garnished with fresh basil.
