Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil or butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  4. Prepare breading stations with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook each breaded chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet, topping each with ham and Swiss cheese.
