A quick and easy side dish featuring crispy roasted green beans topped with garlic and Parmesan.

- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse the green beans under cold water, trim the ends, and pat dry.
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan over the hot beans. Toss gently.
- If desired, drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Leftover roasted green beans can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
