Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • Butter or oil for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or oil.
  2. In a large bowl, blend the cottage cheese, eggs, and optional sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
