- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Cream the softened butter until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing well until fluffy.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture, blending until just combined—be careful not to overmix!
- Combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into your prepared pan, followed by half of the cinnamon mixture. Then, add the remaining batter on top.
- Finish by sprinkling the rest of the cinnamon mixture over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing into this delectable treat.
