Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Toss in the orzo pasta along with 3 cups of water or broth; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
  6. Stir in the steamed broccoli and parmesan cheese until combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
