Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 23 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded cheese and minced garlic.
  5. Gradually add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Cut into bite-sized squares or circles.
  8. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
